After breakfast, our representative escorts you to Arusha Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight into the Serengeti. The scenic flight itself is an unforgettable experience — soaring over the Rift Valley, Ngorongoro highlands, and the iconic Serengeti plains. Land at Seronera Airstrip where your private guide greets you with refreshments. Embark on an immediate afternoon game drive through the central Serengeti, a region famous for year-round predator action. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently sighted in this wildlife-rich area. Arrive at Meliá Serengeti as the sun sets — a contemporary luxury lodge perched on the slopes of the Mbalageti Hills with jaw-dropping views over the plains. Dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti's incredible wildlife. The Seronera River Valley is renowned for year-round game viewing, while the season may bring the Great Migration's dramatic river crossings or the calving season on the southern plains. Your guide selects a scenic spot for a gourmet picnic lunch under an acacia tree, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush. Continue game viewing in the afternoon, searching for the species you haven't yet spotted. Return to Meliá Serengeti in time for sunset, followed by dinner on the terrace overlooking the vast savannah.

Rise early for a final sunrise game drive through the Serengeti, watching the plains awaken one last time. After breakfast at Meliá Serengeti, depart the park and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 metres into this self-contained Garden of Eden for a game drive on the crater floor — an astonishing density of wildlife including black rhinos, lion prides, spotted hyenas, buffalo herds, and hippo pools packed with wallowing giants, while flamingos and pelicans fringe the soda lakes. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool before ascending the crater walls and continuing to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon, where your driver-guide transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or onward journey to Zanzibar.
