Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment Procedure

To book your trip, once the quote is approved, a deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The full balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the start date of your trip.

Clients are responsible for all transaction fees related to payments. A 3.5% surcharge applies to credit card payments to cover banking fees.

Special conditions apply to bookings involving minors and bookings made by travel professionals on behalf of others.

2. Cancellation Policy

Refunds for cancellations depend on the timing of the notification:

• Cancellation more than 60 days before departure: 75% refund of the total amount.
• Cancellation between 30 and 59 days before departure: 50% refund of the total amount.
• Cancellation between 8 and 29 days before departure: 25% refund of the total amount.
• Cancellation 7 days or less before departure: no refund.
• No refunds will be issued once the trip has started.

3. Travel Documents, Visa, and Entry

It is the client's responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the return date) and to obtain a visa for Tanzania. Africa Merit Safaris cannot be held responsible for any denial of entry into the country.

4. Assumption of Risks

You acknowledge that adventure travel in Tanzania involves inherent risks. By booking with us, you accept full responsibility for these risks, including injury or damage that may occur.

5. Agency Liability

Africa Merit Safaris acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, and other third-party providers. Our liability is limited to proper organization of the trip. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by third parties.

6. Medical Conditions and Disabilities

It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements needing attention. This information allows us to make necessary arrangements for a safe and comfortable trip.
