Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Arusha — Overnight Arusha Coffee Lodge

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our driver is waiting with a warm 'Karibu Tanzania!'. A short transfer delivers you to Arusha Coffee Lodge, a boutique plantation hideaway at the foot of Mount Meru. Wander the coffee estate, dip into the pool, or simply doze in the shade of a giant fig tree. Dinner is a farm-fresh, three-course affair served on the terrace. Tomorrow the real adventure begins — your flight to the Serengeti is booked.

Day 2: Fly Arusha to Serengeti — Full-Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, you are driven to Arusha Airport for a light aircraft flight into the Serengeti. The route itself is a safari in the sky — the Great Rift Valley wall, the Ngorongoro highlands, and the endless plains unfolding below. At Seronera Airstrip your private guide awaits with chilled drinks, and the first game drive begins immediately. The central Serengeti is prime predator country: lions on the kopjes, leopards in the sausage trees, cheetahs scanning from termite mounds. A gourmet picnic lunch is served at a quiet spot far from other vehicles. By late afternoon you reach Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, where the infinity pool looks straight onto a waterhole that elephants treat as their private bar.

Day 3: Central to Northern Serengeti — Overnight OLE SERAI

Leave the central plains before the heat of the day, driving north on a route that is one continuous game drive. You pass the Lobo Hills, skirt the Seronera river systems, and climb into the wilder, emptier reaches of the northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration herds gather between the Bologonja hills and the Mara River. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacle of a river crossing — thousands of wildebeest plunging past giant crocodiles. Tonight is a different kind of luxury: OLE SERAI LUXURY CAMP – KOGATENDE, a tiny tented camp hidden in the acacia country, with canvas suites, hot showers, and a campfire dinner under a sky thick with stars.

Day 4: Northern to Central Serengeti — Game Drive

Wake to the whoop of hyenas and the dawn chorus. After a bush breakfast at OLE SERAI, drive south by a different route — through the open valleys around Bologonja Springs, past giraffes browsing the umbrella acacias, and back into the central Serengeti. The afternoon is yours to slow down: track a lion pride you spotted two days ago, wait at a leopard's tree, or simply sit at a kopje viewpoint with binoculars and a thermos of coffee. Return to Four Seasons in time for sunset and dinner overlooking the waterhole.

Day 5: Final Morning Game Drive — Fly to Arusha — Departure
