Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha — Overnight at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your private driver-guide and transfer to Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa in Arusha. Settle into your room, relax by the pool or in the spa, and receive a full safari briefing. The rest of the day is yours to rest after your journey and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Mid-RangeDay 2 — Arusha to Tarangire National Park — Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its dense elephant population and striking baobab trees, Tarangire offers exceptional game viewing along the Tarangire River, a vital water source attracting vast herds of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, and giraffe. Exit the park in the late afternoon and continue into the Karatu highlands to Marera Valley Lodge, tucked beside its own waterfall and botanical gardens.

Mid-RangeDay 3 — Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti — Overnight at Moyo Tented Lodge
Depart Karatu early and drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 metres into this natural amphitheatre for a game drive on its wildlife-packed floor — black rhinos, lion prides, hyenas, buffalo, and soda lakes shimmering with flamingos. Picnic at the hippo pool, then climb out and continue west through the conservation area to Naabi Hill Gate and into the Serengeti. Game drive across the plains to Moyo Tented Lodge, arriving in time for a sundowner and dinner under the stars.

Mid-RangeDay 4 — Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti — Overnight at Intimate Camp Zebra
Today the safari heads north, where the migration drama reaches its peak. The drive itself is a rolling game drive — through the Lobo Hills and into the remote reaches of the northern Serengeti, where the wildebeest herds mass between the Bologonja hills and the Mara River. Arrive at Intimate Camp Zebra, a small tented camp close to the river-crossing action, in time for a campfire dinner.

Mid-RangeDay 5 — Northern Serengeti Migration Exploration to Central Serengeti — Overnight at Into Wild Africa
Head out at first light to follow the massive herds of wildebeest and zebra across the northern plains, and — if timing and luck align — witness the breathtaking spectacle of a Mara River crossing, where thousands of animals brave crocodile-infested waters. After a picnic lunch in the bush, begin the game-drive journey south, retracing the wildlife corridors back to the central Serengeti. Arrive at Into Wild Africa, a comfortable tented camp in the heart of the action, in time for sunset and a final dinner under the stars.

Mid-RangeDay 6 — Serengeti to Arusha — Departure or Zanzibar Extension
Enjoy a final morning game drive through the Serengeti, making the most of every last sighting. After brunch at camp, begin the journey back to Arusha, game viewing en route through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in Arusha by late afternoon, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight — or on to Arusha Airport for a connecting flight to the tropical beaches of Zanzibar.
