Mid-RangeDay 2 — Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive through the scenic highlands towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim, then descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including black rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo, and hippo. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your exploration. Ascend in the late afternoon to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge perched on the crater rim.

After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive towards the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains toward your lodge.
